Do you like to sew Océane’s Pull but you don’t have enough fabric to include the bow? Or you simply want the bow to stand out? Here comes the patternhack for Océane’s Pull. It works for both the ladies version and the kids version.
What do you need
• Your sewing pattern
• Your fabric
• A ruler
• Roller cutter or a pair of scissors for paper (Never cut paper with your fabric scissors!)
Instructions
1
Take the patternpieces “front piece” and “shoulder piece”. Align your ruler with the seam linesas indicated with the red arrows and draw a line.
2
Then cut your pattern piece along this line in two. And add all information to the new front bow piece and to the front piece. Add at the cut edge the information to add seam allowance when cutting fabric on both pattern pieces. And transfer the straight grain onto the front bow piece.
3
Take your new front bow piece and lay it on top of the bow part of the shoulder piece. Transfer the cutting line and cut the shoulderpiece into tow pieces. Repeat the same steps as in step 2.
4
Cut your pattern pieces and don’t forget to add the seam allowance.
5
Sew together the front bow piece with the front piece and the shoulder bow piece with the shoulder piece. Continue with the instruction in the E-book.
6
Finished. Show me your bow hacks on IG od FB with the #oceanesbowhack
